Who can participate in WCSG 2018?
Participation is open to all employees in both the private and public sectors. Companies of all sizes can participate and it is possible to group employees from different companies to form teams.Do we have to have a minimum number of participants to register?
No, a single person can participate in WCSG 2018.Is there a maximum number of authorized participants for the same company?
No, there is no maximum limit. However, in some disciplines, the number of places is limited by the capacity of the infrastructures (golf, bowling …)Do I have to be insured to participate?
Yes, each participant must be insured in accordance with the laws of his / her country and in accordance with the regulations of his / her member organization of the World Federation of Corporate Sport (WFCS). For example, French participants will have to present a medical certificate of non-contraindication to the sport in competition, dated less than one year compared to 27/05/2018. They will also have to hold a valid federal license within the French Federation of Corporate Sport.Are there any other conditions for participation?
Registration and accommodation must be paid on time. Otherwise, the organization may cancel registration and participation.

Registrations for certain disciplines may be closed sooner, given the maximum number of participants possible depending on the infrastructure. However, the organization guarantees the possibility for each member country to register at least one team in each discipline.Is it possible to register for several disciplines?
No, only one registration per person is allowed. In some sports (athletics, swimming, pétanque …) it is possible to participate in several events. In addition, it is possible to enter a discipline as well as the non-stage race (5 or 10 km).Is the race outside the stadium open to everyone?
Yes, it is open to all participants, regardless of their discipline, subject to being assured to participate in this event.What is included in my registration?
Participation in a sports discipline or a leisure / discovery activity, participation in opening and closing ceremonies, optional participation in the off-stage race, welcome package, official dress, access to daily nocturnal entertainment , first aid and, for foreign delegations only, the use of private transport set up that will link « official » accommodations, sports venues and assembly sites.

Yes, all the information of your members will be pre-registered and you will have to select the participants for 2018, to choose their tests and to register any new membersDo I have to remove all pre-registered members following the Ghent games in 2017 and who are not participating in the 2018 World Games?
No, you can keep them as members of your club. They will thus be pre-registered if they wish to participate to the World Company Sport Games in the coming years. Of course, they are not automatically registered in the games of the Baule 2018! I forgot my access codes, how to recover them?
ACCOMODATION
There are very few availabilities on the booking sites. Is this normal?
Yes, in order to ensure that all participants can find accommodation corresponding to their expectations and close to sports facilities, the organization has pre booked more than 6,000 beds in La baule and in the neighboring communes.How to book and choose your accommodation?
You must indicate the type of accommodation you would like to register online. Alternatively, you can directly send an e-mail to [email protected] indicating the number of people, the category of accommodation you want (hotel, holiday residence …), type of accommodation (twin, double, single, 4-person apartments …) and the sports disciplines concerned.
RULES
When will I receive the registration invoice?
When you complete your registration online, it will be validated by the organization and you will receive the invoice onlineWhen will I receive the accommodation invoice?
When you have finalized your choice, in order to block the accommodation, you will receive an invoice with a down payment.When do I have to pay the invoice?
– For registration, a deposit of 30% must be paid within 30 days of sending the invoice. The balance must be paid by 31/01/2018
– For accommodation the deposit must be settled within 1 day and balance no later than 3 months after the invoice is sent and before 15/02/2018
REIMBOURSMENT
Is it possible to be reimbursed for registration?
Yes according to the following conditions :
Cancellation before 20/02/2018 : 100% Reimbursement
Cancellation between 21/02/2018 and 01/04/2018
50% Reimbursement
Cancellation after 01/04/2018 : No reimbursementIs it possible to get reimbursement for accommodation?
Yes, but depending on the specific conditions regarding each accommodation
CATERING
Is restoration included in my participation?
No, if you wish to have lunch on the sports site in question, you will need to make a pre-reservation and a prepayment with the organization. A reservation request will be sent to you in 2018. Otherwise, you can dine in the many restaurants of the destination or, also by reservation, at the Palais des Congres Atantia in La Baule.What are the catering solutions during the event?
– For lunch: if you have made a pre-reservation and prepayment on time, you will be able to restore yourself on the competition sites.
– For dinner: on a half board basis (depending on the feasibility of the hotel), the Palais des Congrès Atlantia de La Baule will offer several catering solutions at the end of the competitions. Guests can also eat at one of the many restaurants in La Baule. This practical information will be provided in your welcome package.
TOURISM
Can you tell me about the tours in the area?
A booklet will be given to you in your welcome package at the accreditation center. It will give you informations on the centers of tourist interest of the destination and our recommendations of visits. You can also visit the website of the tourist office of La Baule: www.labaule-guerande.com.
TRANSPORT
What are the transport solutions?
Several possibilities :
– in order to offer maximum freedom of travel, preferential rates have been negotiated with Europcar for car rental. To take advantage of this option, simply choose this option when registering online. Cost: 160 € for a car of 4 people for the duration of the games. – to facilitate your trips in La Baule, a service of bicycle hire is proposed to you. Cost: 36 € TTC / person for 5 days (includes locks and lighting kit / helmet and safety vest on request) – public transport (reserved for foreign delegations). Cost: included in option B of the registration.
ACCREDITATION
Location and opening date
You can pick up your accreditation at Epona (avenue de Rosières – 44 500 LA BAULE-ESCOUBLAC). The accreditation center will open on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.What should we bring?
You must show proof of identity. Recovery on behalf of another person
We recommend that participants collect their accreditations personally. Delegation officials will be responsible for retrieving all accreditations and welcome packages from the delegation concerned. You will need to sign a document stating that you have obtained accreditation on behalf of a person or full delegation.Welcome Package
